FC 27 Ultimate Team – 4 Million Coins Wiped, Appeal Still Pending
FC 27 Ultimate Team – 4 Million Coins Wiped, Appeal Still Pending
Hi everyone,
I'm looking for some advice and hopefully some help from an EA Community Manager regarding a coin wipe on my FC 27 Ultimate Team account.
On October 15th, 2026, EA removed 4,034,168 FUT coins from my account for “Coin distribution / Balance transfer.”
My penalty history currently says “Your appeal is pending,” but I haven't received a clear explanation of what specific activity triggered this action.
My trading activity involved buying and selling players on the transfer market, including players used in Marquee Matchups SBC solutions. I bought certain players before the solutions were available and sold them afterwards. I have screenshots showing the players, their purchase prices and the relevant SBC solutions.
I understand EA needs to protect the transfer market, but I genuinely believe my trading activity was legitimate. I wasn't intentionally transferring coins between accounts.
I submitted an appeal on October 16th. The case was subsequently marked as fixed/closed on October 21st, but my penalty history still says the appeal is pending. I'm unsure whether my appeal is still actively being reviewed or whether any further action is needed from me.
I've also reviewed the data provided through my Data Subject Access Request, which records the coin deduction, but I still haven't received a clear explanation of the specific transactions that led to it.
I'm hoping an EA Community Manager might be able to clarify the situation or help escalate it to the appropriate Terms of Service team for a proper review.
Has anyone else experienced a coin wipe while trading players for SBC solutions? If so, were you able to get your coins returned after appealing?
I'd really appreciate any advice or assistance. Losing over 4 million coins is a huge setback, especially when you believe your trading activity was legitimate.
Thanks for reading.
