EA needs to finally update Jack Grealish’s face scan and haircut for FC 27! 💇♂️
He’s had the exact same outdated long hair and headband look since FC 25 and 26. In real life, he’s been rocking a much cleaner short fade and beard trim lately.
For a star player at Man City, it’s wild that EA hasn’t updated his starhead. Hopefully, we get a visual update or a day-one patch for FC 27. What do you guys think?
Bro its a new game right why it's called fc 27 ??? Licensing and a players likeness are hugely important and not something that our teams can ignore.

Thanks for the explanation, Darko, but that logic completely falls apart when individual community creators are building flawless, 100% accurate models of his new hair and beard using basic tools in their spare time.
If solo modders can achieve perfect realism without needing a multi-camera scanning rig, a multi-billion dollar company should easily be able to task an in-house digital artist to update his hair assets. Jack Grealish is a massive superstar, and Manchester City is a premier EA partner.
Honestly, if EA doesn't want to bother updating the faces and hair of the world's biggest stars, they shouldn't even call it a new game. If we are playing with the exact same outdated models, it doesn't feel like FC 27 at all—you might as well just call it FC 26. We pay full price for a brand-new game, and we expect basic visual updates to match real life. I really hope the development team starts manually updating these hair models instead of hiding behind scheduling conflicts.

Jack Grealish isn't injured and he is actively training with the team right now. He is fully available, and his presence is clear from the latest [Manchester City Training Photos](https://x.com/City_hq/status/2088702446973370795) showing him working hard right at the club facilities.
Given how massive of a player he is and how close EA's partnership is with Man City, the team absolutely has the access to update his look for a brand new game if they prioritize it. Hopefully, the developers take this community feedback seriously and get his hair sorted for launch or the first title update.
