With the game mode, once it is set to a player's account, we do not have the ability to change it. We let everyone know here: Why can I access only specific game modes? | EA Forums - 13623618

I know it can be frustrating not to get into the mode you wanted, and we have sent that feedback to the team.

Thanks for clarifying. I understand that the game mode cannot be changed once assigned. I just wanted to point out that my invitation specifically stated that I was allocated Football Ultimate Team, while my account only gives me access to The Grounds. I hope the team can look into why the allocated mode and actual access don’t match, as I was really excited to finally get the opportunity to test Ultimate Team. Thank you for passing the feedback on.
