Left-Stick Dribbling Exploit: Video Example & Urgent Need for Solutions
Hello everyone,
to follow up on the ongoing discussion, I want to share another concrete example showing how left-stick dribbling is currently being heavily exploited.
- Video Example: The following video perfectly demonstrates how quickly rapid left-stick movements break down defenses in tight spaces without needing any sprints or skill moves:

- The Problem: Since AI defenders no longer auto-intercept, this extreme responsiveness makes defending against these unnatural direction changes nearly impossible. It rewards solo dribbling instead of real passing and build-up play.
As the EA Development Team already admitted during the Gameplay Q&A on Discord on October 7th, this level of dribbling is unrealistic. While core responsiveness should stay, we urgently need concrete solutions and adjustments soon (such as dribble fatigue or adjusted inertia values) to properly balance this mechanic.
Thanks to EA_Claus for reading along – we are looking forward to upcoming updates!
