Community Managerblue166 The feedback from these threads are sent to the studio teams. That is a part of our job. However, what, how and when they resolve an issue in an update is up to that studio team. We have no say so in it. We pass it along, and after that, we wait just like the players.

I am becoming more impatient with this game this year than ever before.
This issue is very frustrating. For example if you play with Chelsea your reserves include, Quenda, Estevao, Wellbeck, Henderson just to name a few. Being unable to move these players onto the bench which mostly consists of defenders is absolutely criminal. There is no work around and we are totally stuffed.
The immersion for playing this title is fading out for me and very fast.
I truly am ready to just make the jump to Konami's eFootball now. Saddens me to say that and feel that way but can only watch so many updates drop and this issue ignored I and other people can take.
I would say that this UI issue is so broken it actually deserves a hot fix to be dropped to correct it. It's that big of a deal.

Community Managerblue166 I get it. It is totally valid to get impatient with a game you play every year. There are games I buy every single year, and there are issues every time. We have all been there. You need your defenders. Really hard to play without them. Defenders are arguably the most critical foundation of any football team. Depending on who you ask, of course, but still, when you cannot use them, it kind of puts a hard stop to the matches.
I have looked for workarounds, and I see some but none that are guaranteed; they could also just be a coincidence that they worked. I get the readiness to jump ship. I have been in this industry a long time, and I have been a gamer for more years than I can count, so i get it. I wish there were things we could say that would guarantee any issue would be resolved but we cannot.
We watch these updates all day, and we look for those messages that something will be updated, but sometimes they don't come as quickly as we want them to.

I too have looked for work arounds and none exist for this issue.
I have deleted every formation, reset team sheets in online Seasons and nothing works. The substitutes and reserve players cannot be swapped around at all and saved.
You can change them around all day long BUT as soon as you leave the screen and it pretends to save when you go right back into it everything has been undone again and back to how it was at the beginning.
It is beyond frustrating. Please drop them a long email again and say please fix pretty please 😉
Since I am sure you have a copy of the game. Please enter Online Seasons mode for me and say pick Chelsea. Go the formation screen and change some substitutes and reserves around. Try moving Henderson onto the bench and Estevao for example. You will now see them on the substitutes bench. Back out (It will make out it has saved) and then re enter that same section again. You will see that the substitutes are back to how they first were and the players you moved are back in the reserves again.

They mention a lot of things that were and are on the agenda, and from the way it is worded, they should have been, but I cannot guarantee that is what they are referring to. Believe me, it is has been passed back over to them that the community says it was not resolved.
I will test it out on my own to say I did when I send it over. They will do the same no doubt, but if by chance multiple people get multiple outcomes, then something may not be quite right.
