Connection unstable and high ping

Greetings,

I have been playing fc27 since the 18th or 19th September, the game itself feels really nice, the problem occuring is the connection. Every few games I have terrible connection, high ping spiking to 200 - 300ms, and that is horrible for a game and company this big. I checked and my internet conection is great in other games, and overall a good internet conection. I hvae tried a lot of fixes, but it seems more and more to me like this is an EA servers problem. Does anyone have any fixes for this or suggestions why this might occur.

    A few things to try to reduce your ping...

    1. Use Ethernet rather than Wi-Fi.
    2. If Ethernet isn't possible, stay as close to the router as you can, and avoid weak-signal areas.
    3. Stop other network-heavy activity while playing, such as downloads, cloud backups, streaming. Check other devices on the network too.
    4. Restart the router/modem
