Crash after anti cheat
Subject: FC 27 closes immediately after EA Javelin AntiCheat – 0xC0000374 / 0xC0000005
Hello EA Support,
FC 27 was working normally on my PC, but it suddenly started closing immediately after the EA Javelin AntiCheat screen.
PC specifications:
- Lenovo Legion Y540-15IRH-PG0 (Type 81SY)
- Intel Core i7-9750H
- NVIDIA GTX 1650
- Intel UHD 630
- 16 GB RAM
- Windows 11 Pro for Workstations, OS Build 26300.9550
Crash information from DxDiag/Event Viewer:
- eaanticheat.gameservice.exe crashes with exception 0xC0000374
- Faulting module: ntdll.dll
- FC27.exe subsequently crashes with 0xC0000005
- DxDiag also reports a LiveKernelEvent 1b8 involving dxgkrnl / Intel Gen9 graphics.
I have already tried:
- EA App Repair
- EA App cache clearing
- EA AntiCheat repair
- Complete EA AntiCheat uninstall/reinstall
- Installing EA Javelin AntiCheat again
- Restarting Windows
- Secure Boot is enabled
- Temporarily disabling Avast
- Disabling EA in-game overlay
- Windows clean boot
- Checking for other Anti-Cheat software such as FACEIT — FACEIT Anti-Cheat is not installed
- Checking network adapters — no TAP/VPN adapter is currently present
The game still closes immediately after the AntiCheat stage.
I can provide my DxDiag file and additional crash information if required.
Could you please investigate the Javelin AntiCheat crash (0xC0000374) and advise whether this is a known issue with FC 27/Javelin?
