Disconnection Warning

I was playing a game in the new gauntlet and I was winning 2-0 then my opponent stops playing and it disconnects. I assumed he rage quit but turns out I got kicked out of Ultimate Team but I'm still connected to the EA servers so how does that make any sense?? I get the disconnection warning even though my internet is fine and even when i checked my match connection history it was in the 80s out of 100. This has also happened to me while playing the Back to Basics live event and it's getting so frustrating that I'm being given losses even though it is 100% not my fault.
