EA COOP SERVERS PORBLEM

I’m having an issue with matchmaking in EA SPORTS FC 27 Ultimate Team Co-Op.

I live in the United States, while my friend lives in Turkey. Even when my friend hosts the Co-Op lobby from Turkey, we still get matched on US servers instead of European or Turkish servers.

We would like to play on European servers to get a better connection for both of us. Is there a way to fix this and this problem was not happening two games ago.

    This same problem has plagued this game for years now. I play co op seasons with my friend in eastern Canada while I'm in California and united we match up with people in North America one of us are guaranteed to have 150+ms ping. They need to add matchmaking by region. I'd rather wait 10 mins for a match and have consistently good connection than have to leave every other game because the delay is so unplayable.
