FC 27 PS5: Kick-Off Name Option Missing on Select Sides Screen
Platform: PlayStation 5
Game: EA SPORTS FC 27 — Full Version
The Kick-Off Name / Create Kick-Off Name options are missing from the Select Sides screen. Only the controller positions and Ready option appear.
In previous FC games, players could select or create Kick-Off Names before starting a local match. This feature is important in our gaming lounge because customers want to use their own names and identify their local match statistics.
The issue occurs on all four PS5 consoles at our gaming lounge. All consoles use one PSN account with additional controllers connected as local guest players.
Troubleshooting performed:
- Completely uninstalled and reinstalled FC 27.
- Selected Connect Online, but the screen refreshes briefly and returns to the same Select Sides screen.
- Confirmed the same issue on all four consoles.
Reinstalling the game did not resolve the problem.
Please investigate whether this is a bug in FC 27 and provide a workaround or a fix to restore the Kick-Off Name / Create Kick-Off Name options.
Thank you.
