Severe speed-up lag in Champions/Rivals
I urgently need help with a serious FC 27 issue on PC. During Ultimate Team Champions and Division Rivals, the game suddenly freezes or moves in slow motion, then accelerates at around x2 speed to catch up. This ruins my matches and makes the game almost unplayable. My FPS remains stable, so this is not a graphics or performance problem.
I use wired Ethernet with HOTnet. My ping is usually 9–12 ms and my jitter is only 0.25–0.42 ms. However, EA’s official Connection Quality Report shows consistent packet loss of 0.21%–0.31% in Champions and connection scores of only 66–75. Rush works normally using the exact same PC, adapter and internet connection. Other online games also work normally.
I have already updated the Ethernet adapter driver, changed USB-C ports, disabled USB power-saving settings, restarted my router and PC, closed background applications, and checked all network, graphics, fullscreen and frame-rate settings. Nothing has fixed it.
I contacted EA Support, but the agent closed my case during the conversation and told me to post on the forum and wait for help. Nobody has been able to explain why this happens or provide an actual solution.
The evidence suggests a problem with EA’s Champions/Rivals servers, routing, match instances or data-center selection. Please investigate this issue and escalate it to the networking or development team. I need specific help, not the same standard troubleshooting steps I have already completed. I do not know what else I can do.
