Unable to connect

I have called the support of my ISP, and they said that EA has blocked a range of their IP addresses. And when i check the local forums, this issue is affecting both HKBN and HKT, Hong Kong’s two largest ISPs. Please stop telling players to contact their service providers, this cannot be fixed on our end unless EA resolves the block. It’s absurd that the single most discussed topic about this game is simply trying to connect to the servers rather than the actual game content.

Stop the bs mate, this is clearly an issue between EA servers and the local isp here hkt or hkbn, stop asking us to troubleshoot instead just report to your IT department and let them fix the issue asap. Please do it fast man for **bleep** sake a whole city can't play

I am writing to report a recurring connection issue affecting EA Sports FC 27 players in Hong Kong, specifically those using HKBN (Hong Kong Broadband Network). Users are consistently experiencing connection failures, an inability to reach EA servers, and persistent login or matchmaking errors.

Investigations suggest this may be caused by an ISP/server routing collision, where HKBN's network routing configurations are clashing with the EA server handshake process. This is leaving many local players unable to access online services despite their internet connection functioning correctly otherwise. Given that FC 27 has also faced widespread reports of network drops and infinite loading screens since launch, could you please investigate if there is a known compatibility or routing issue between HKBN and your servers?

the problem is besides FC27, other games like APEX LEGEND on EA can be played. when it comes to FC27 suddenly cant connect. this is not isp problem. this is on your side. please FIX. this happen after the latest update

My original connection is via Ethernet but I've also tried wife and my mobile hotspot. Both alternatives do not connect me to the servers. I've also uninstalled and reinstalled the game twice, used manual DNS and ipv4 settings with the same result. The only mode I'm able to access is kickoff. Again, other apps on my PS5 console work fine, both gaming and media like YouTube/Netflix. It's only FC27 which I cannot connect to the servers. My connection score in the last time I managed to connect 3 days ago is 99%. Have you checked the issue if it is caused by your end? I've seen other users make similar complaints of not being able to connect to the servers.

Thanks for the added details. As a test, can you try switching your connection to use a mobile hotspot? This is just as a test to see if it lets you connect.

Beginning with the main menu. Even after the prompt at the top right hand corner mentions to press R3 to reconnect, the same error message appears. It's not just ultimate team but all online modes including Seasons. This is now into the 3rd day I've been unable to play, and going by the reports on this forum, it isn't an isolated case. What is the real issue?

Where are you unable to connect? Is it when loading into the main menu or only with Ultimate Team? Are you using a VPN?

It does nothing

on pc aswell! other games seems fine! but ea cant connect! lousy game!!!
