AI passing

When im playing AI takes over and will make passes instead of shooting or passing the ball back to the opposite team ot frustrating when am in front of the keeper and it won't shoot it will pass it bsck also often times  trying to get the ball ot of my area and I cant even make it past the half way without my player sending it back and costing me a game!! Does this happen to anyone else???
