In the record breakers section there is the condition Assist for 6 goals with Messi, but during the match the condition 0/8 appears. In addition, these conditions also appear in the weekend challenge matches. I hope those of us who suffered from this bug will receive a reward.
Same here, bro. I'm experiencing the same thing. Messi 8 Assists? Even though the optional feature only asks for Messi 6 Assists. I even ran it twice to make sure. Turns out it was a bug.
It is an annoying challenge as Messi never had more than 5 assists anyway, but if you want to give it a try, simply put Messi as an ST with either two wingers or CAMs behind and run up towards an opponent's goal, then pass it to the running CAM/wingers behind you. Also, make sure that you score own goals (yes, lame but effective) to get extra time.
I carried on as soon as the 6th assist didn't end the game (always a good idea to check how far off the actual challenge counter you are).

Yea I'm kinda late to inform this my bad😮💨. I just hope this didn't happened again. Assisting 8 goals with Messi is pain especially I'm doing it with 95 ovr messi

I’m reporting a persistent bug in EA FC Mobile that makes the “Assist 6 with Messi” challenge impossible to complete as shown.
Summary
- Objective displayed: “Assist 6 with Messi”
- What happens: The progress counter requires more than 6 assists (I reached 7 and the game still required 8).
- Additional issue: Messi’s AI/positioning rarely makes proper attacking runs, which prevents natural assist opportunities and makes the objective unreasonably difficult.
Steps to reproduce
1. Open EA FC Mobile and enter the relevant challenge/mode.
2. Play matches using Messi and try to complete the “Assist 6 with Messi” task.
3. Provide valid assists while tracking the objective counter.
4. Observe that the counter does not complete at 6 and asks for extra assists; also observe Messi’s poor run/positioning.
Expected result
- The challenge labeled “Assist 6 with Messi” should complete when Messi records 6 valid assists.
- Messi should make normal attacking runs/position correctly so the task is achievable through regular play.
Actual result
- The task does not complete at 6 assists (required 8 in my case).
- Messi often fails to make attacking runs or position for assists.
What I’ve tried
- Multiple matches and attempts.
- Manually controlling Messi and different tactics.
- Restarting the app and playing on the same account.
Request
- Please investigate and fix the objective counter and Messi’s AI/positioning on EA FC Mobile.
- Provide a hotfix or compensation (task credit or in-game rewards) for affected players if a full fix will take time.
This is frustrating and harms the player experience. Please acknowledge receipt and advise an estimated timeline for a fix or compensation.

Please ea i suggest giving the players who finish the task their 30 shards please😭
This is basic stuff and it’s easy to fix — gift every last user the shards. When you make a mistake you need to own it, and that’s the simplest, most honest, thing EA can do to make things right. It costs them nothing compared to the goodwill it buys. (Which most likely means they’ll do the opposite, lol!)
