Bug Report – Swipe Shots Always go LEFT (Even When Aiming Right 🤦♂️)
TLDR:
Swipe shots in FC Mobile are broken. No matter how I swipe (up, down, diagonal, curved), 80–90% of the time the shot goes left — even when I swipe to aim right. Left-side shots work fine. Right-side shots are basically impossible. Devs: this used to work perfectly. Please fix!🙏 anyone else seeing this issue?👀

Swipe Controls – How They’re Designed (as intended by EA):
- Power Shot: Swipe straight toward the goal. Faster = more power. Slower = more control. Too fast might overshoot.
- Finesse Shot: Swipe in a curved line. The shot bends according to your swipe path. The in-game "Curve" stat also affects the bend.
- Chip Shot: Tap quickly on the goal to loft the ball over the keeper.
Common Experience (Before the Bug):
- Swipe up (bottom → top) = shoots LEFT side of the goal.
- Swipe down (top → bottom) = shoots RIGHT side of the goal.
- Worked consistently and intuitively.
The Bug (Observed Issue):
In this most recent version of the game:
- Swipes down (top → bottom) now shoot to the LEFT side most of the time (~80–90%).
- The bug happens pretty much no matter where I swipe from or to — top left, top right, bottom corner, middle—it keeps shooting LEFT. (y always left tho devs...LIKE Y ALWAYS LEFT...!! LIKE RIGHTIES ARE PEOPLE TOO! AHem.. ahem... sry didnt mean to yell there🫢👀)
- Left-side shots (bottom → top) still work fine.
- Button shots (not swipes) seem unaffected.
This wasn’t an issue in the past. Before this recent update, the direction of your swipe accurately mapped to the shot placement. (in my experience at least)
Final Notes / TLDR 2👀:
The swipe system is currently unusable for aiming to the right side of the goal. It’s a frustrating bug that breaks the core gameplay for swipe users. The game used to handle this fine, but now swipe input feels broken and inconsistent.
Please fix this, devs — swipe shooting is a major part of the game for a lot of us. 🙏⚽
