OK, that explanation is helpful, but I have to say that is not how I interpreted the mechanics of the event. I think many of us were under the impression that Challenge 3 was attainable on each day if we answered 100% of the questions accurately — not that we could only complete one challenge level per day. Your explanation clarifies that I was not due to receive the 100% reward (Challenge 3) because I had not yet fulfilled Challenge 2. So, problem solved, but some sort of clarifying language within the event would have helped avoid this confusion in the first place.
On a related note, we’ve seen a lot of folks (in the General Discussion forum) confused by the whole “curve key” thing in the “Footyverse” event and it’s hard to blame them. It’s just not at all clear how you’re supposed to obtain the keys. I wound up referring folks to a third-party website that explains the various pathways because EA hasn’t supplied adequate explanation (and because the keys are “hidden” rewards on two out of three possible pathways). This type of confusion ought to be avoidable either by (a) making events a little less convoluted; and/or (b) providing more thorough instructions/guides/walkthroughs. For example, I watched the recording of the Footyverse walkthrough livestream and, while I applaud the intention, it did not do a particularly good job of explaining the many quirks of the event.
Folks spend a lot of time and money on this game and, while game performance and match mechanics remain significant issues/challenges, clarity and transparency on event mechanics seems like low-hanging fruit for EA. Just a little more due diligence on the front end would go a long way toward helping eliminate points of pain/confusion like the one on this thread and be greatly appreciated by the community.
