I can't join any league in EA SPORTS FC Mobile. I keep getting error 20036: "Member in hop cool off time. Cannot join this group." More than 24 hours have passed since I last left/was removed from a league. I have tried restarting the game and joining multiple different leagues, but the same error appears. Please check and remove the cooldown from my account if it is stuck

The error appears when the game still considers your account part of a tournament from the league you recently left or were removed from. The cooldown should usually clear after that tournament finishes, generally within 24 hours.
Since more than 24 hours have passed and restarting the game has not helped, please fully restart your device—not only the app—and try joining a league again.
