Gameplay problems

The defensive line is not moving accordingly to my control. It tends to just move towards the ball by itself leaving the space wide open. To clairfy, i control the player to block the opp player to the left, my plyaer just run to the right towards the ball which is not i wanna do. It feels like i have the ai mode on but i have it off.
