Since Head to Head works on mobile data but gets stuck when you’re on Wi-Fi, start by clearing the FC Mobile app cache on your device, then relaunch the game.
If that doesn’t fix it, turn Airplane Mode on for about 10 seconds, then turn it off again. After that, forget your Wi-Fi network, reconnect to it, and try H2H again.
If the issue still only happens on Wi-Fi, reset your network settings and, if possible, test the same match flow on a different Wi-Fi connection. If it works on another Wi-Fi network, that points more to the original connection than to your game account.
Before reinstalling the app, make sure your FC Mobile account is linked so you don’t risk losing any progress.
