Invisible players??

I was just trying to play the Glorious Eras event match but when I loaded in, every player was gone. All the players on my side were clustered to the left side, while the opponent players were clustered to their left side. I know this because that was what was shown on the in game map. the commentator was also referring to my player as Ronaldinho even though he wasn't on my team. My players were playing as if they were something else. Pace, Shooting and other aspects. Even in cutscenes, they were invisible. The game crashed right after the referee gave a foul to the opposing team for a free kick.
