Missing player in my league - ‘Unknown’

I have recently invited a friend to my league that I am the Owner of. However, as shown in the attachment, the player is being displayed as ‘Unknown’ with an OVR of 0, no profile picture, and the drop down bar ( looks like ‘v’) is greyed out so i cannot press it to view his profile, kick him out, etc. Is this a bug that EA are already aware of and can anything be done to fix this so they can participate in my league?

Player in question is “trackmaniac” but I am unsure of their UID.
