Netherlands Nation Story Error
EA, you guys are doing it again. Just like with Japan, you appear to have once again created questions that are poorly worded or where the answers are just wrong.
Ruud Gullit scored the first goal in the 1998 EURO Final and, because the match ended 2-0, it was, by any common understanding of the term, the “winning goal.” Yet when I selected this answer it was marked incorrect because, apparently, whoever wrote the question was thinking the Van Basten goal “won” the match. While this goal was indeed iconic it did NOT “win” the match. Anyone who watches sport understands that the game-winning goal/basket/point is the one that puts the victorious team ahead to stay, so this question (which apparently requires Van Basten as the correct answer) is just wrong.
EA customers, and most of all diehard football fans, deserve better. It isn’t that hard to get these things right if you have any sort of quality control in place. Please, please, please show us, and the game we love, the respect to get this stuff right going forward!
