Questions about Live OVR players

I have recently gotten a Live OVR 117 Lucas Beraldo from the Champions League event, and I’ve ranked him up to 120. However, due to PSG’s performance, his base rating has risen to 118, but his rating is still 120, shouldn’t his overall rating including my rank ups become 121 now? Please help 🙏🏻
