I’m writing to report a recurring issue I’ve been facing in EA Sports FC Mobile. The game frequently displays the following error message:
RESOURCE DOWNLOAD ERROR [0x000003E8]
“Please make sure you are connected to the Internet or free up more local storage.”
My device and network details:
- Device: iPhone 17 Pro (256 GB)
- Storage Available: Over 150 GB free
- Network: True Move H (5G connection, speed ≈ 300 Mbps download)
- System: iOS (latest version installed)
Despite having a strong and stable connection and plenty of free storage, this error keeps appearing — usually right after winning a match. When it occurs, I lose the star progress needed for promotion, as if the win never happened. This has happened many times and is making me frustrated and hesitant to continue playing ranked matches
