Through Pass issue in H2H

There is a recurring issue with through passes during fast attacking plays that creates a very frustrating gameplay experience.

During counterattacks or quick build-up moments, when a forward run is clearly happening and I press the through pass button, the player sometimes performs a completely incorrect pass backwards instead of passing forward into space.

This usually happens in the most critical attacking moments, when a striker or winger is making a clear run behind the defense. Instead of sending the ball forward into open space, the player unexpectedly passes the ball backwards to a teammate behind him, instantly killing the attack.
