A modest proposal regarding coin prizes
When even second-tier star players cost more than $1,000,000,000 (and meta players cost 3x-5x that), can we agree that any coin prizes less than $10k-$20k are just a joke? Take the Star Pass bonuses of $2k. Market inflation has made this amount the equivalent of a fraction of a penny — its darn near worthless.
I realize this is not one of the points of greatest pain (like H2H lag, or match mechanics) for the community, but it’s obvious an area where the game has grown outdated and one that’s easily fixable (i.e., low-hanging fruit). What say you, EA? Throw us all a bone and adjust coin prizes for inflation?
