Add more ways to get Rank-up Points
Hi EA Team, I really enjoy the game so far, but there’s one thing that feels quite unbalanced for new players... The only consistent way to get rank-up points right now is by playing Scouting Camp....

I agree that there are not enough tokens to get, compared to getting Mascheranos left, right, and center in the past. Keep in mind that a lot of Hero and Icon events that regularly dished these out have disappeared too. I definitely don't want to see URP cards back, as these just clog up your inventory.
Playing PVP at this point in time is also pointless, as H2H is in an unplayable state, and even extending it to VSA will come with similar issues.
A hybrid where you can use one or the other (same card and/or rank points) would be nice, but it does add complexity, given the current issues with gameplay. Probably, we don't even want them to start messing about and getting distracted from fixing the two elephants in the room — latency and gameplay.
The positives with the new ranking are that some older but still great cards for themed squads are slightly cheaper to gold rank, and your inventory doesn't get clogged.
Negatives are the inability to use the same card to rank up (for example, you can’t train up 70s to green for higher XP), more expensive 110+ rank-ups (equivalent of two URPs, so 200 ranks), and overall harder to get.

dzrtr yes the new rank up points system holds an advantage over URPs and you have rightly put it together but that's not the issue. The issue is the lack of availability of the rank up points. Even in Zlatan Chronicles I don't find rank up points after chapter 1. It's just meagre coins and gems as rewards and the chronicles event has always seemed to me as a joke because they offer the players at an OVR that is always lower compared to what is peaking at the moment. This can surely help newcomers in the game but for F2P players like me with a 116 OVR team, getting Zlatan now doesn't make sense. It even didn't make sense when it released because the 110 and 111 players were already in the events and considering that by the time we get 110 zlatan many high ovr options would be out.
Not deviating much from the topic, right now I have got 4 players from the current event. But how do I rank them up when I am not getting enough rank up points. There's terrible scarcity of rank up points in the game and in the new Rewards 4 chapter, I got only 60 rank up points and 4 shards. It's like EA giving tip to beggars. What am I supposed to do with the vast resources I just unearthed in this chapter?

Anyway, you don’t need to upgrade every card that drops. Think about the theme or what actually fits your squad. I only upgrade Icons or Heroes I liked back in the day, ideally Juventus or Serie A. That way, it’s more personal and not just random filler.
Chasing OVR for the sake of it doesn’t do much, especially when gameplay still has its own problems. Better to build something with purpose than just slap together the highest numbers.
Yeah I read your first sentence and all other sentences that followed and then only wrote it. And not ranking up every player. I just want to rank up those I claimed for my side especially when I am transitioning from 4-3-3 attack to 3-4-1-2. And I would actually love not chasing ovr and build a dream team that I want had division rivals always been matched on the basis of same ovr. Like I am 116 ovr, I should always be playing a 116 ovr. But it's been 7 years since I have been playing this and despite repeated complaints, the matchmaking has never been fair. So in an unjust world, everyone would strive for advantage and so do I. Or else I had a messi special lineup in which I had a copa america messi card ranked to 103 ovr while new higher ovr cards got introduced and forced me to go for the highest ovr I can as an F2P.
hahaha, fair enough. I guess in VSA, OVR means lots. I prefer H2H, where your skill matters more, well, except for now it's hard to play any DR but MM. I've built squads for Juve (just Icons/Hero), Bayern, and Barca. Got a very competitive ICONs with mostly fav players. I decided a long time ago, if I am going to play this game, just play it the way you want, not the way they want. I could be 118 or 119 if i kept up with OVR chase, but im happy with my 116, at least I have cards I want :)
Unfortunately EA developers and community managers don’t give a s*** about our opinion.
