Yeah, I know it changed and it's more expensive up front, but going beyond red, unless you really need to, is kind of pointless. That's keeping in mind that the Anniversary 2 cards do not get the OOP penalty when gold. Not going gold (or even red) might actually help you spread the scarce resources around. Either way, it unclogged my inventory, so now I can make more coins to waste on players like BdOr Cannavaro \e/
I still prefer the new ranks system over the URP. What EA needs to do is revisit the cost and/or limits or ranks availability they enforced. That doesn’t mean the system is bad for high-end cards. It’s frustrating in terms of training costs, but those are easy enough to recover with more room for the market investments.
