AI spike & scripting at MM 15-20 stars.

There is a check on progress where when you get 15 stars in Manager Mode to stop you getting to 20 stars, Fcmobile nerf your players, increase your opposition AI ability, & make you lose to perfect play from your opponents! I'm tired of this, so I don't bother playing anymore. Fcmobile is a scam! I'm stuck between 13 stars & 15 stars. If I go higher, I get badly beaten by impossible play, & get thrown back to 13 stars. How do I defeat this evil, if at all possible?

  • At a point, I had 17 stars, they brought me down to 6 stars via string of losses to even teams I used to beat. They empowered my opponents AI to beat me like a baby! Once you hit 14 stars, you're marked, it doesn't matter what players or tactics you have - it's just crazily scripted! All the money you spend on improving matters very little. They let you progress when they want it, NOT because of your genius. I'm so terribly discouraged, I no longer see the need in passionately playing. It's so ridiculously stupid.

  • EA Sports is the Cheater itself(37stars sudden drop to 16).

Bro you're spot on. It's not even lag. The system itself is rigged. Same boat, multiple files of tickets, but all I got is review stats and lvls of opponents(c'mon, maxed out 116 OVr and +30 Ginola vs lower lvl and ovr defenders, etc).

Even after breaking it down EA help does NOT Help lol. They'll always go back to their scripts since they aren't SME's enough to address, let alone resolve the issues.

    [Observation]
VS - Try either sprinting or doing power finesse shots, and see how the AI scaling reacts(aka RNG).
The results are highly improbable, aka it's rigged to have players play passively lest triggering the bots to score succeeding goals(even clearing or triggering the next turns to "fast-forward", the math just doesn't add up(aka basic chances same speed timing with good chances).
    - Try not scoring, and see how long it takes for a bot to goal(sometimes it just keeps losing chances), against an actual user playing(average is around 5seconds, vs 2 goals in like 1-3 seconds).

H2H - EA is teaching the community to be lazy, as lower OVR and level teams scale performance to maxed  cards(116, +30 atm).
This applies to all PVP game modes, slightly felt in PVE(eg, run a maxed meta card vs lower versions). No performance difference.

MM - Literally can just copy the PES manager, this mode is still confused. The RNG is a mix of H2H and VS as above.

"Claiming" they listen looks good in socmed, in reality checks it isn't. These are basics for them to earn more, yet they still can't get it right after 10yrs of FIFA Mobile.

The only great consolation is no resets, so they can be creative on churning out new and better cards while saving our nostalgia and efforts.

Let's be honest: in the quest to make it realistic, fair play has been thrown out.

This is coming from a mid-spender(just one who likes collecting specific cards, not going meta).

Spenders keep the game alive, so balancing to meet F2P is great. But adamantly becoming impossible due to machine-programmed scaling from reactive rng, it's simple math: 7 is always lower than 10. Proportions, Proportions, Proportions.

People don't stop spending if they receive the value ROI back. this version, pre FC26, is just plain abysmal.

  • ea dirty dogs go **bleep** your mothers never again I will put money into this game what a pain. We suffer to reach 114 115 and 116 of ovr and you make us lose against 102 go **bleep** your female dogs of mothers

Yep, you nailed it—on all fronts. It’s goes beyond annoying…frustrating…infuriating the current state of the matchplay. It’s just depressing how fully EA now disrespects the world’s most popular sport (the one I, personally, love the most). The fact that they don’t even try to make matchplay realistic, competitive or fun to play (especially H2H) just makes me sad (and angry).

FC Mobile has become nothing more than a glorified slot machine. It’s “football” themed just like all the gambling machines in Vegas are themed with graphics, music and flashing lights. But it’s really stopped being about fun matchplay and almost exclusively about gimmicky events and collecting cards. I enjoy building a team, but I want to actually have fun playing real football with them (not the sorry, laggy, rigged excuse for matchplay they’re currently handing us).

I’ve spent maybe $2.50 on this game this season (at $0.39 a pop), and I won’t spend more because it’s just not worth it to throw my hard-earned money away on a game that disrespects the sport I love. Every week I get a little more disillusioned with the whole thing—especially when we compare notes in here and I find out “No, I’m not crazy. Everyone can see that the game is just as rigged as it feels to me when I can’t pass beyond Lvl 16 in VS Mode and the AI is so obviously stacking the deck against me.” And nobody from EA makes ANY effort to engage with us (the people who give enough of a crap to come in here and comment).

This is an abusive, exploitative relationship we’re all in with EA. That’s the basic takeaway for me. We’re the chumps and “the fix is in.”

PS — I’d pay a considerable flat fee for a quality football app, but I’ll never let myself get sucked down the slippery slope of these micro-transactions for such a poor quality gaming experience. I’d sooner waste my money on Clash of Clans (which at least functions consistently and fully meets user expectations) than on the shoddy fiction of football matchplay currently offered in FC Mobile!

Yup. You’re not imagining it. It’s all one giant manipulation to try and get you to spend more money.
