Same here… I can’t even win the Weekend Challenge anymore. My team is 106 OVR and I stand zero chance - even the Chronicle Matches are difficult now. Opponent team has 85 OVR but the team plays like it had 120 OVR. Just stupid
• My players can’t outrun the opponent
• My players run around like blind lice in a maze
• My players can’t utilize their skill moves
• My players get swarmed by 3-4 opponents
it feels like the opponent has 35 players on their team; haha…
The opponent team is just WAY to overpowered now. I remember this happened once before, and EA turned it down again. Let’s hope enough people complain about this
I think it just shows how little EA cares about it's player base.
I'd like to see their reasoning and testing process that decided whacking the difficulty level up was a brilliant idea. Was any peer testing done? Was it with people with "normal" squads (so 104 OVR or lower)?
Or was it just a finger in the air and a "F*ck 'em that'll do" approach?
They gave it all the big 'un that Anniversary event was going to be spectacular and instead bumped up the AI difficulty 100% instead of 10%, didn't increase the rewards to match the sweatiness involved to beat it. Forced players into more H2H mode matches (I actively avoid H2H) made it more difficult to score in VSA mode. Messed up the search function in the market. Reduced opportunities to get Mascherano while inflating market prices of tradeable players.
Also, in the UK it's nearly impossible to get the rewards from watching the video adverts too. Yet another shining example of the vast incompetence of the FC Mobile team.
If I wanted a weekend sweat fest for irrelevant rewards I'd go play FC25 on console.
It's a perfect example of how to alienate your player base and hope the whales keep plowing money into it to verify your decision to ruin the game for the casual users.
