Aqua Vs Inferno - Pair up task - No chance to spend the AVI tokens

Hi Team,

The Pair up event looks interesting but awards the same Aqua Vs Inferno tokens which are plentiful in supply.  I am already done with my Rewards section with the tokens earned from playing Daily skills challenges. 

Whats the point of adding a task without any suitable rewards?  Earlier atleast EA used to allow exchanging some event tokens for future events but now a days that has been either too low or non existent.

Any ideas from fellow forum members as to what's the point of all these xtra aqua Vs Inferno tokens?
