biased gameplay

there is a pattern I am noticing because since the last update whenever I play a player in head to head with a little higher ovr than mine my players suddenly start doing random things and it doesn't follow my user input like the game wants me to loose whilst on vice versa when I play a weaker player my players start playing normally and follow user input, I want to know why is that
