Captains Event Drop Rates Abysmal
I’ve now collected 40 Captains cards and drawn only two OVR 107 and one OVR 108. I’ve got 37 cards that are either 105 or 106. That’s 92.5% of a pretty decent sample size. What is up with these pathetic drop rates? Is this the way it’s going to be going forward—either P2P or get left with garbage?
Most FC Mobile users (like me) grind because we can’t afford to P2P. We may not directly line EA’s pockets with cash, but we are the beating heart of the game because our sheer numbers provide match-ups for every P2P user in Division Rivals, Club Challenge, etc. We don’t deserve to be treated like second-class citizens, but that is what is happening. Previous events like TOTS at least gave users/customers like me a fighting chance to win one top-tier card, but that seems to have changed with Ragnarok and now Captains. I play everyday and I’ve got virtually nothing to show for it except a pile of crap cards that won’t buy me anything but complete mediocrity (which is totally what happened during the Ragnarok event). Why should I bother? Why should ANY have us bother if we’re to be relegated to second-class citizen status no matter what we do?
