This is a major issue with the new event ea sports the brand new captains event looked awesome but now its just useless for us players.
On behalf of every "free to play" players the shard price for a captain armband is insanely high and moreover its impossible for f2p players to claim and this is a major advantage for pay to play players. This is super unfair and makes us want to quit playing.
Please look into this EA this is a very good game and I've been a fan for a long time please try to reduce shard cost for the armband to 1250 or 2500 max if not its impossible for us claim good players and multiple f2p players might quit. So we want some justice on behalf of the f2p players EA so please make this improvement and make this equally fair for everyone so we can enjoy this game with no issues

As an F2P player, I agree with your point. But honestly, this won’t shake EA because they only care about money. If F2P players quit, it doesn’t affect them at all. What we really need is to convince P2W players to stop spending.
So listen up, P2W players: it’s not worth it. You’re basically only guaranteed two Greatest Captains players, and there’s a high chance you won’t even get the ones you actually want. And in just over a month, 113 OVR players will be released, which makes all that money you spent completely wasted.
The key thing is, if you keep spending, you’re supporting EA to keep making events like this. That means the game will get worse, the events will get greedier, and your wallets will just get thinner, eventually turning you from P2W into P2L. I really hope you can see the reality, don’t spend money on this game, or at least, wait until they fix the gameplay and make the events normal again before spending. Right now, it’s simply not worth it.
You can start by convincing me. I'm 70 years old, retired and have money to spend. Each month I spend $9.99 on a star pass. I decide how my money is spent. No one else decides for me.
Exactly bro i completely agree with what u say for p2w players its pointless cuz 113 rated players are comical up and to get ur hands on players like cr7, messi van dijk and cruyff its a dream for f2p and every single time they are expensive and unable to purchase we need to convince everyone. Yea the group is not started yet and the only support im receiving is from you and the rest are stupid ppl encouraging the wrongdoing of EA and the ppl who think only p2w should get to enjoy the game because they pay and the f2p should quit and move on with different games like the guy above
No hate but these guys got big egos and ego issues. The youtube content creator Mr. Believer is also like a person to the f2p side who understands the issue and wants everything for the betterment of the community unlike some players and content creators i should try to reach out to him then together ppl against this new event can start a discord community
I agree with everything 9vfb5pdj5ihr is saying he is right and we need to make it a normal situation to enjoy the game equally i don't say dont pay but this has got out of hand p2w players need to understand this situation and refuse this or EA Will continue this and exploit the players eventually making everyone else quit none of those players will be claimable for us at such an insane price yall need to understand and act against it without going along with ea and exploiting players
4k shards is a bad decision mate.. but I don't think that will stop people from putting money on the game. People will spend more if they think something is a novelty and only few can have it. The reason for quitting is mostly to do with bad game xp. Some do quit for bad rewards but they do come back after a while to check if it's improved.
What you need to understand is there R lot of in between people who pay occasionally and these events target those.
What EA needs to understand is the cost is so high that it would discourage even people who are willing to spend.
So not many winners is what I think.
