EA: PLEASE Improve H2H Play

The opportunity to play actual games (not just simulated attacks like VSA) against actual opponents ought to be the BEST part of any football app. Alas, it’s the most routinely frustrating (if not outright infuriating) part of FC Mobile!

I’m sure I’m not the only user who has repeatedly provided this feedback, but EA seems more intent on creating “event” content (most of which is just recycling the same tired “skills challenges” and trade-in schemes!), rather than actually improving the “bones” of the game. This, despite the fact that they make a great console game (FC 25)! Why must the H2H FC Mobile experience (whether it’s Division Rivals H2H or Club Challenge mode) continue to **bleep** when there is clearly knowledge within the company on how to proved a football gaming experience?

Even if you’re not going to overhaul the basic match play engine (which most users agree needs significant changes/improvements) then, at a minimum, PLEASE STOP THROTTLING my high-speed connection!  I assume this is being done to allow for matchmaking with users who have slower connections, but I pay good money to enjoy a 22-28ms ping rate, and yet routinely end up playing at 80-100ms. This makes for an incredibly frustrating lag that results in the AI basically playing most of the game (while I try in vain to arm wrestle it!). And it’s not like the AI is any good, lol! The match usually devolves into a series of totally unrealistic high-speed collisions because both users have to blindly rely on the “sprint/speed” button to control their defenders (due to lag). It looks NOTHING like real football and isn’t any fun to play to boot! It makes one wonder whether the crowd at EA who work on this game (1) watch real football matches; and/or (2) play FC Mobile under the circumstances experienced by real users. If they do, then HOW is it possible that the scenario I describe above is an acceptable product??? If you can’t improve the AI/playability then at least STOP throttling my connection and making my gameplay miserable. I’d rather wait 30-60 secs to get a match with another player on a reasonably fast connection than be consigned to a crap gameplay experience.

I’m sure this thread is not the only one, but I invite other users who share in an earnest desire to see this game improve to add their constructive feedback and urge EA to stop focusing solely on superficial additions to the game (like the constant, often inane, new events that roll out with the same silly skills challenges) and put greater emphasis on making match play actually FUN! FC 25 accomplishes all of this for the console audience, so we know it’s not asking too much for the company that produced it to put similar effort (and pride!) behind FC Mobile.
