EA support to cheaters : template replies, players treated like idiots
I’m posting this because I feel the current support system does not handle cheating reports in a transparent or effective way.
Here is what happened:
I’m playing with a squad rated 124. I lost to a squad rated 111 in a way that did not feel like normal gameplay. I understand that upsets can happen, but this match looked clearly suspicious in terms of performance and behavior – the kind of situation that should be reviewed by a proper anti‑cheat system or a manual review.
I reported the situation, as players are encouraged to do.
However, the response I received from support did not answer my actual questions. I did not get:
1)A clear explanation of what was checked
2)A confirmation that the reported account was reviewed
3)Any indication of whether actions were taken or not
Instead, the reply mainly contained generic phrases such as “we value fair play”, “we are constantly improving”, and “thanks for your feedback”, without addressing the specific case.
My concerns and questions are:
1)Are individual cheating reports really reviewed by a person
2)Is there any confirmation when action is taken against a reported account?
3)What concrete measures are being used to protect honest players from unfair play in this game?
I understand that support cannot share private details about other players’ accounts. But there should be at least some clear communication like:
1)Whether the report was successfully received and reviewed
2)Whether it matched any known issues or pattern.
3)Whether any general action or improvement is planned for these kinds of cases
Right now, the feeling many honest players get is:
1)No transparency.
2)No visible follow‑up.
3)Only generic answers with no clear outcome.
Players spend time and money on this game, and they report suspicious behavior to help improve the environment. They deserve clear and respectful communication instead of vague, template‑style responses.
I am sharing this so that other players can see how such situations are handled and so that, hopefully, support and the relevant teams can improve:
1)More transparent communication.
2)Clearer feedback on report.
3)Stronger and more visible actions against unfair play.
If the goal is truly to protect fair play and build trust with the community, then improving how these reports are handled and communicated is essential.
