Feedback on recent fixes and urgent request to fully restore gameplay balance

Hmmmm…..I just logged on here fuming at the update. I have 2 120 players, 8 119 players and a 117, all ranked up 5 levels. 

I’ve just played the game in world tour, 3 league games and 3 vsa. I can’t believe what I’m seeing. 

this is a 125 team with highly ranked players and I have maybe 50% control of their actions. 

I understand the need to show differences between the players to create the levels of difficulty/difference in development of each team, but if you have top rated players they have to perform like that. 

as players we strive to improve our squads and get better players (earning/buying resources) to see the skills of those players demonstrated on the pitch, to win more easily against the AI and to have a better chance to win against human players whose squads are slightly weaker. 

but what is the point if those players misplace passes, shots, run past the ball, can’t tackle and see many efforts on goal easily saved by the new super-keepers.

each new ‘fix’ appears to make the game worse. 

what is the point??

Thank you for the response! Just to be specific, all we want is for the gameplay to be restored to how it was exactly before the Ultimate TOTS (UTOTS) update. That was the most balanced and enjoyable version of the game. Please bring back that specific gameplay feel. 🙏🙏

We are strongly requesting you to restore the gameplay back to how it was exactly before the Ultimate TOTS (UTOTS) week. The entire FC Mobile community is asking for this exact change because the current gameplay is hands down the worst it has ever been.

Personally, I used to spend up to 5 hours a day playing Division Rivals, but after this update, I barely play for 30 minutes because of how frustrating and poorly balanced the gameplay feels. As we mentioned before, you don't even have to remove the PlayStyles if you want to keep them; just integrate them into the old gameplay system that we all loved and enjoyed.

If you don't believe that the majority of players are completely dissatisfied with this new update, we challenge you to run an official community poll on your YouTube channel. Ask the community: "Which gameplay do you prefer? The one before the UTOTS update, or the current new gameplay?" You will see for yourselves that almost everyone wants the old gameplay back.

We sincerely hope for a quick response and request you to create this poll to see the reality of the community's feedback for yourselves.

Many players are already starting to leave 1-star reviews on the App Store and Google Play because of this update. If this continues, more players will abandon FC Mobile and switch to eFootball.

I second what zxugznfremmd​ said wholeheartedly. Gameplay is currently miserable. I’ve logged on everyday for 18 months and played several hours a day for most of that time, but I have much better things to do with my time than suffer through the current misery. The game feels exceedingly “heavy” and unresponsive and just isn’t fun.

In recent months EA has re-engineered the rewards system (drafts, shards, etc.) to make meta players more rare and more expensive than ever before. This has made the overall customer value proposition the worst it’s ever been. When you now throw in the exceedingly poor matchplay since the update, many of us see no reason to continue. I, for one, am frustrated to tears with the current situation. I’ve played EA titles for +30 years, I love football, and I’ve never been more disillusioned with EA. I manage a full league and many are in the same boat. They feel abused and increasingly disgruntled at EA’s greed. The company has under-invested in gameplay improvements while systematically increasing the cost to remain competitive. We’re not stupid. We all see it. And we resent it.

So, if improvements aren’t made immediately I’ll be ending my relationship with EA and I won’t be coming back. I value my time and money too much to continue to patronize a company that doesn’t respect me, the sport I love, or the community that surrounds it. Words are cheap. No amount of saying “we care” or “we’re listening” is enough if it’s not backed by action and results. EA is failing right now with respect to the latter and has got to start SHOWING it gets this. Stop resting on reputation and pushing out poorly executed game “improvements” that make the game objectively worse and rediscover the sense of pride and purpose that used to make EA games the best in the industry. Otherwise, a whole hell of a lot of us are just going to walk.

Restoring the gameplay to how it was before the Ultimate TOTS update is our number one priority. Before that update, the gameplay was absolutely amazing, perfectly balanced, and we all loved it. Honestly, we only play this game for the pure gameplay itself and nothing else, because the events have become terrible lately.

If they don't fix this and bring back the old gameplay we love, the passion will completely die. In a year or two, the game will collapse and become the biggest failure of a football game in the world. I really hope the developers read your comment and realize they need to bring back the passion and restore the gameplay immediately.
