If you are actually serious about producing a good game, then maybe stop prioritising your profits and ripping players off. Agreed. This is no longer a “fixer upper.” This game has become a “tear down and rebuild.” Alas, as you note they won’t do anything meaningful to fix it. We keep telling them the basic game mechanics are broken and need an overhaul and they keep ignoring us and asking stupid questions like “what about the ‘match presentation’?” Seriously, EA?!
This thread has been up for months, with dozens of thoughtful, substantive replies, and we’ve gotten ZERO acknowledgment from EA. It gives every appearance of a purely performative sort of user “engagement” in which they ask for feedback, but don’t actually listen (especially when the message is that the game is fundamentally broken and needs major retooling). No, they would rather move around the “deck chairs” on the Titanic rather than do the hard work of making FCM a title worthy of “the beautiful game.” It feels deeply disrespectful if you ask me — to we the users and to the sport we love. And it’s such a sad comedown for a company that once set an industry standard in sports simulation games. Ugh…😒
