Community ManagerAfter this 28 May 2026 update, nothing is working. My defenders can't defend, they can't even get a tackle in, and if they do they almost always lob the ball away leaving it to be taken by the opposition.
The BIGGEST PROBLEM though, is the goalkeepers. I have Donnarumma UTOTY & Kobel UTOTS. Donnarumma hasn't been stopping every ball (obviously) but I can say he has been a Champion these past few months. After this update, every low ball, every mid ball goes in.
Every weak, lousy shot is 100% a goal.
I don't even want to talk about how pathetic Kobel is now. I scored a goal with Heung-Min Son, and instead of being happy I was infuriated, I'll explain. Sosanov (Forgive me if I spelled that wrong) the opposition's goalkeeper, was inches from the trajectory of the ball. He could've blocked that ball by simply lifing his hand, post update? it's an easy catch. The shot was waste high (something he could have EASILY caught), and it was from outside the box. He WATCHED it go in without diving or lifting his arms. He didn't react in any other way, either than literally watching it go in.
I posted a video of it under one of EA's post on Twitter. How ridiculous does a game have to be for you to be angry you're winning??
Games gone. And this time the game might actually really be gone. There was nothing wrong with the goalkeepers. There was nothing wrong with the gameplay either than a few bugs here and there. Everything was actually okay post Anniversary Update. But this UTOTS Update is the slums. Ruined a great game, again! 2 times in a single year. First with the draft system & now with this. And I knew this was going to happen, the moment I saw, that they're also tweaking the goalkeepers... I knew they were going to make them horrible. Today, there's no difference between having a goalkeeper from 2 years ago and having Kobel. Thee latest and "better" one, mainly because he's taller than Raya.
And then it lags💔 all game long🙂👍
