Footyverse difficulty

I'm finding the Footyverse navigator matches really difficult. The match difficulty is insanely high and the stipulations don't help either.

The difficulty is at the level that it's not actually fun. 

I've also got Footyverse tickets, enough to unlock Destination Unknown and Destination Known, yet I still can't unlock them. How do I unlock them?
