Formal Complaint On FC Mobile's , Market Prices, Unfair FC Draft Rewards

To the FC Mobile Development Team and EA SPORTS,

I am writing to express my serious disappointment with the current state of FC Mobile, particularly regarding the in-game coin economy, the excessive market prices of high-OVR players, and the extremely disappointing reward experience in FC Draft.

As a dedicated player, I invest my time and resources into playing events, completing challenges, participating in matches, and trying to improve my squad. However, the current reward system makes meaningful squad progression unnecessarily difficult and, at times, feels like a waste of the time and resources players invest in the game.

1. Insufficient Coin Rewards Across Events and Matches

One of the biggest issues in FC Mobile is the lack of meaningful coin rewards across the game's different activities.

Whether it is Chronicles, regularly updated events, other event modes, or ordinary matches, the amount of coins players receive is simply insufficient compared with the current market prices of players.

Players are expected to participate in events and complete objectives to earn resources, but those rewards often do not translate into meaningful squad improvements. Even after spending considerable time playing the game, the coins earned are nowhere near enough to purchase the players needed to strengthen a competitive team.

What is the purpose of participating in events if the rewards cannot realistically help players afford the players available in the market?

The in-game economy needs to provide a reasonable connection between the effort players invest and the rewards they receive. At present, that balance feels completely disconnected.

2. Excessive Market Prices for 120, 121, and 122 OVR Players

The market prices of high-OVR players have become another major obstacle to squad building.

Players rated 120, 121, and even 122 OVR can cost enormous amounts of coins, making them inaccessible to many players who rely on event rewards and match earnings rather than purchasing resources through additional spending.

The issue is not that every top-rated player should be cheap. High-rated players should naturally have value. The problem is that the resources obtainable through regular gameplay do not appear proportionate to the prices players are expected to pay.

This creates an unreasonable progression gap. Players can spend days completing events, collecting rewards, and saving coins, only to discover that they still cannot afford a single meaningful upgrade.

Please review the balance between player market prices and the number of coins available through normal gameplay. Players should have a realistic opportunity to improve their squads through consistent effort, not feel permanently locked out of the market.

3. FC Draft Rewards Are Extremely Disappointing

The FC Draft system is another major source of frustration.

After approximately 70 spins, I have still not obtained even one 121 OVR player. I am not demanding a 122 OVR player or expecting the highest-rated reward every time. I am simply asking why such a substantial number of attempts has not resulted in even one player rated 121 OVR.

Repeatedly participating in a reward system without receiving a player who meaningfully improves my squad makes the experience feel unrewarding.

If FC Draft is intended to be an exciting feature that encourages players to participate, the reward structure should provide a reasonable sense of progression. Spending resources on repeated attempts only to receive rewards that do not meet a player's squad requirements is deeply discouraging.

I urge the development team to review the FC Draft reward probabilities, the distribution of high-OVR players, and whether the system offers sufficient value for the resources players invest.

4. Rewards That Do Not Match My Squad's Requirements

My team has a base OVR of 121, while its current displayed, upgraded team OVR is 126.

Because my squad is already built around 121 base-OVR players, obtaining a 120 OVR player through repeated Draft attempts is often not a meaningful upgrade for my starting XI.

This is why the current reward structure is so frustrating. I am not asking for extraordinary rewards or insisting on the best player available. I want a realistic chance to obtain a player who is relevant to my team's current level.

When a player invests resources into approximately 70 Draft spins but cannot obtain even one 121 OVR player, the system fails to deliver a satisfying progression experience.

A reward should ideally be useful to the player receiving it. At the very least, there should be a transparent reward structure and a reasonable path toward obtaining a player of the required rating.

5. A Growing Gap Between Free-to-Play Progression and Market Expectations

Taken together, these problems make squad progression increasingly frustrating for players who depend on regular gameplay.

The game offers events, matches, and Draft opportunities, but the rewards from these activities often feel disconnected from the cost of building a competitive squad.

This creates a situation where:

- Coin earnings are insufficient to keep up with market prices.

- High-OVR players remain financially inaccessible through ordinary gameplay.

- Repeated Draft attempts may fail to produce a single player who improves the starting XI.

- Time and resources invested in the game do not consistently result in meaningful progress.

Players should not feel that the only realistic way to build a competitive team is to rely on luck or spend additional money. Skill, consistency, planning, and participation in events should also have a meaningful impact on progression.

6. Changes I Request From the Development Team

I respectfully request that EA SPORTS FC Mobile consider the following improvements:

1. Increase coin rewards: Provide more meaningful coin rewards through Chronicles, regular events, other event modes, and matches.

2. Rebalance the market economy: Review the affordability of 120–122 OVR players in relation to the coins players can reasonably earn.

3. Improve FC Draft rewards: Reassess the probabilities and distribution of high-OVR players so that repeated participation offers a more satisfying experience.

4. Introduce a guaranteed progression mechanism: Consider a milestone-based reward, exchange system, or guaranteed high-OVR player after a specified number of Draft attempts.

5. Provide greater transparency: Make reward probabilities clear and ensure players understand what they can realistically expect from Draft.

6. Respect players' time and resources: Design events and reward systems so that sustained participation produces meaningful progression, rather than repeatedly delivering rewards that do not suit a player's squad.

7. Improve free-to-play squad building: Ensure that players can gradually build competitive teams through consistent gameplay without feeling forced to rely on purchases or exceptionally lucky outcomes.

Final Message:

I enjoy FC Mobile and want to continue playing it, which is precisely why I am raising these concerns. However, enjoyment declines when events provide insufficient coins, market prices remain out of reach, and repeated Draft attempts fail to produce even one player who can improve an established squad.

After approximately 70 FC Draft spins without obtaining a 121 OVR player, alongside the difficulty of earning enough coins to purchase high-rated players, I feel that the current systems need a serious review.

I am not demanding free 122 OVR players or guaranteed top-tier rewards from every attempt. I am asking for fairer progression, more reasonable coin earnings, a balanced player market, and Draft rewards that provide a realistic and transparent path toward improving our teams.

Please take this feedback seriously and consider making changes that reward players for their time, effort, and continued engagement with FC Mobile.

A game should motivate players to keep building their dream squad, not make them feel that their time and resources have been wasted.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

A frustrated but dedicated FC Mobile player

  • Hear, hear! Agree on all points. Loads of us have raised them only for it to fall on deaf ears. But we must keep beating the drum.

On the transfer market issue in particular…. For more than a year I’ve piled up all my “pennies” (cuz that’s all a 10k or 50k prize really is) and, although I’ve  amassed 5.9 billion coins, I can’t afford any players that would improve my squad. So, the transfer market has become functionally worthless (and, therefore, all coin “prizes” are worthless as well). I literally haven’t purchased a player in over a year. EA either needs to fix the situation or end the sham because it’s of no use to most users.
