At a very minimum EA should give users a clear heads-up when any in-game currency is about to become obsolete. It’s particularly egregious when a user has spent real $$$ to buy the currency (e.g., the Nation’s story shards), but even if the currency has been earned via gameplay EA should respect users enough to alert us that we risk losing it. They do this with the badges. Why not with shards, etc.?
