I'm starting to believe this game hates me

I made the worst decision of even trying manager mode. Boy what is that thing? With the same tactics which got me to 40 stars last season is getting me nowhere. I'd gotten to 24 stars fell down to 4 stars then went up to 20 fell down to 10 went up to 21 again and now I'm back to 4. All this in a gap of around 400-500 matches. I've just let my phone on autoplay and it just keeps punishing me. Mind you I have a 118 ovr team and it just seems impossible to get a win. My team can't win 2 games in a row and when the losing streak hits it's 5 or 6 losses in a row. The heck EA? Anyways I'm done with this game in a week. But yeah even during the last few days the game just tests my patience. But yeah atleast it helps me in leaving without any fomo.
