Yes, and completely by accident, just when you could decide the match, say, by scoring the 2nd goal, which the opponent will not be able to score or who will equalize.. Too often, when they start a player in an area suitable for a clear run, it's as if I had pressed the shooting button and the opportunities fail..Interestingly, these situations happen most often when you’ve been trying for days to reach a certain level: you get close, then drop back 3–4 levels, followed by a string of draws—day in, day out. Just yesterday, for instance, I beat a player with 30+ stars and drew with another at the same level; then I drew with a 40+ star player and beat a few 10+ star players. Yet, just as I’m about to hit that 10-star mark, the game holds me back against 2–3 star players who don't really know how to play—and somehow, the game gifts them a lucky, fluky goal. It’s unbelievable; EA’s "holding-back" mechanic is way too aggressive and needs fixing. In the past, I’d have had 20–30 stars by this point... now, I’m just making the game fun for unskilled players. Lately, my final thought is just "I’ve closed the game," rather than "I’m glad I opened it—I enjoyed it," even when I’ve had losses.
