Live OVR player exp increase won't count towards badge progression?

I just found out today that the exp increase of live OVR players doesn't count towards badge progression. It was previously known that their shard value doesn't change from the initial value but now the exp increase also doesn't count apparently.  So I counted all the player exp and it came up to 2045 exp. Given that it's 10 exp for level 1, 90 exp for level 2, 200 exp for level 3 and 500 exp for level 4, I'm left with 2045-(10+90+200+500) = 1245 exp. So it should've been 1245/1700 for level 5. Instead it's showing 1065/1700. Now I have 4 live ovr players I'd claimed upgraded in ovr and exp. 115 mascherano to 118 ( exp increase of 60) , 115 koeman to 117 ( exp increase of 40), 115 havertz to 117 ( exp increase of 40) , 115 pedro porro to 117 ( exp increase of 40). Now 60+40+40+40=180. And I'm missing exactly 180 exp. Idk if this is a bug or is this how it is. Given how much of a monetized disappointment this event has been this is the last thing i'd want. I expect some clarity on this situation. Though it shows and increased exp in the badge section the increase doesn't add to badge progression.
