Sorry to say but NO. It doesn't work that way. You can rather exchange the shanghai festival 108-111ovr player pick if you have got it for extra time tokens and claim valuable shards from the 'Shard Pick' section in Extra Time.

I don't see this as a wrong move. It's a good plot twist. Even I was thinking what are we gonna do in week 5 after completing dunga matches and they came up with this. From EA's POV, this is going to keep players curious till the last in the upcoming events but EA need to back this up with solid event structure rather than the repetitive dull skill games stuff. If there are such additions in the upcoming events then they should be backed by an interesting programme. So no complains about this.

If I can't get Iniesta back, I want the mission changed. Remember, EA created this mission to help players get additional shards. So, EA should create a mission that can be enjoyed by many people. Many people who can't speak up on the forums, and have the same fate as me, they share their stories on social media.
You can only select one of the three captains mate - I don’t think there is any way you can get all three.
And yeah - something to learn with these events is to not go early on anything - if you can wait until the end to claim your players, then do so … I didn’t claim Insta until I knew that he would be the highest ranked of the three.

Wasn't this additional mission created to provide additional shards for all players? I'm just suggesting replacing the mission with a more flexible and universal one so that all players can actually get these 50 free shards.
