Matchmaking is unfair or rigged
The screenshot is of a H2H but VSA has the same unbalanced matchmaking.

I don’t disagree with you that this is unbalanced. I suspect what is happening is that there are so few players above +20 FC Champions that, at any given time, there just aren’t enough available players (e.g., in the +20 - +30 range) to get a match.
I will say that a big part of this is EA’s fault. There were a lot of us (myself included) who were climbing into the +20 - +50 ranks up until a month or so ago when they started tweaking VSA. The change was quite jarring when it occurred and now I reach +10 and I suddenly encounter far more possessions where my players make inexplicably poor touches, passes and/or shots making it next to impossible to climb anywhere near the next level (+20). It’s glaringly obvious that EA made a change and it has prevented a lot of us F2Pers with good (but not elite) squads (mine is 118 OVR) from climbing the ranks as high as we used to. Thus, everyone in those top tiers (like yourself) has fewer players to match with and you get more games like the one in the screenshot. Suffice it to say, it’s a completely fixable problem if EA wants to stop making users like me miserable with rigged/error-filled possessions.
Same, I'm not saying I should be facing lower OVR players. It seems that I am the only 117 OVR dumb**bleep** left in VSA FC Champion tier (I was at FC10, barely reaching 17 stars before dropping back down after meeting a straight slew of 118-120). How the F do you want me to even climb up if all my opponents gets better chances than me? Even the latest 117 v 118 match, I had 3 basic chances compared to his 1 while he has 4 great chances compared to my 2. WE ARE ONLY 1 OVR DIFFERENCE. I lost 12-13 btw thank you E f-ing A.
EA_Pulsar do let me know if I am really the only loser in FC Champion tier that is at 117OVR still.
Not even kidding at the rate I'm being matched with high overalls. Literally just got matched with a 121 OVR with signed Gerrard and Matthaus. WTAF is this form of matchmaking. For the rich to trample on the poor?
Bro, It was very hard to reach 20+ with the poor gameplay and since I am getting higher player got down to below 20 now.
I don't think you are the only one. And OVR isn't a issue here, my point is that I should be facing teams with same tier or one tier above/below. But now I am getting teams from 2-3 tier above
The issue will be that this late in the season a lot of people have stopped playing, so the matchmaking pools becomes very small … I am at about 5 stars and the other day I matched someone with 20+
As for things being rigged … well, you read one thread and it is rigged to give lower OVR an advantage, then the next thread the P2P higher OVR group get an advantage … its almost as if the whole notion if things being rigged or scripted is just a complete fallacy 🤷♀️
in any event - threads about stuff being scripted, or rigged, or the game picking winners is potentially in violation of the terms of service, so I’m going to just close this one before it lurches further towards that territory and people start to accidentally get themselves in strife. 😬
