Man just cut it coz even in real life situation Burnley fc can be given real Madrid as an opponent so just stand bold and face the challenge and that will help u know and get used to and how legends play so that u can also become one
With all due respect, that’s just not how the ranking system is supposed to work. If this was an open cup or a true league scenario with 20 clubs of widely varying composition then I’d be much more understanding of there being a wide gap between opponents, but we’re talking about a tiered system (containing many thousands of users) in which everyone has a specific ranking based on the difference in accumulated wins and losses. The whole design is one that enables all users to be matched against similar quality opponents (especially after the first week or so following the monthly reset, once the best of the best have climbed back up to the top tiers of FC Champions). This tiered system is explicitly designed to keep the matches competitive and, therefore, fun. I’m simply reporting that it’s not functioning according to its design. Telling me to “stand bold” is missing the point.

There have to be tens of thousands of players with a similar ranking to me. Why can’t I be matched with one of them? If this is a case where there are so few users in the +30 tier that EA has to give this opponent a match with folks like me, then why don’t I get matches with opponents 20-30 ranks below me??? Seems nonsensical as well as totally unfair.
