By IFAB standards, that’s a clear yellow—maybe even a red. It’s right in the zone between dangerous play and outright recklessness.
If a defender did the same thing in the other box, you’d almost certainly see a card (likely red) and a penalty. Definitely feels like a logic flaw or bug.
As for OVR and rankings—this game is, at its core, a card collection game (to drive the revenue in) with football mechanics layered on. High OVR flex is good for VSA and Manager Mode for sure. But in H2H? A flashy 115-rated squad full of 111 cards ranked to gold with 30 training ranks squad won’t save a clueless player from getting torn apart
Also, what teams don't let you touch the ball, PVE or PVP? I mostly get that in tweaked nightmare PVE games where a mistake will cost you a game.
