Next gameplay update
The recent gameplay update was a huge success in my opinion, made the gameplay more fun and enjoyable. If there will be another update at some point in the future, here's what I think it should include:
- Trigger run : as useful as it is for a lot of people, I feel it would be better to maybe reduce the distance the player covers, a lot of people use it for the dreaded "kickoff glitch" which first appeared on console in FIFA 14.
- Player freezing : This often happens whenever I attempt a one touch pass/shoot; a player receives a pass and when I try to play the ball quickly, the player just stares at the ball and sometimes walks backwards. It happens in both VSA and H2H.
- Autoplay : almost no player I've seen have ever used it when attacking, but everyone abuse it when defending. Autoplay follows the player perfectly with enough space to make a standing tackle. At first I wasn't too concerned about it, but seeing how difficult manual defending is and how much skill it takes to follow the player using joystick, while autoplay defending gives a similar effect by doing almost nothing, just leaving the joystick and letting the AI do all the work, it became somewhat annoying.
- Host advantage : I know this one is difficult because it involves the server, but it would be great if it gets fixed. Host advantage is when for example I play H2H against someone who lives far away, and if the game is at his stadium, my ping becomes high and my input is delayed as a result.
Other than the gameplay, maybe some new gamemodes like the old weekend league would be great to have or an open matching H2H mode where I can use my squad, or street football 3v3 with third person camera angle. The latest update with new additions like trivia quiz has put the game back into the right track and I hope it continues.
